Full Production Camps Frozen | Finding Nemo | Aladdin

Join us for this Spark favorite. Two week production camps have been one of our most popular camps every summer! Students will experience every part of being in a full production in just two short weeks! Each day students will be immersed in the process of learning lines, music, choreography, and blocking/staging their show. During the second week of camp, our cast will move to the stage to learn how to work with set and props, costumes, lighting, backstage, and more! They will complete their experience with live performances of their show for family and friends. *No experience required.

Description: In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. Finding Nemo

Description: Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Aladdin

Description: Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers!


One-Week Mini Camps

 Mini camps are designed for our pint sized performers.  Music and choreography is catered to our youngest actors.  Students will also play games and interact in a low-pressure, fun filled, environment.  Camp will end with a short student showcase to give campers the opportunity to perform on stage to a small audience of their parents and friends.  This is a great place to start to develop a love of theater arts.

Frozen Mini Camp

Ages: 5-6

Dates: June 17th-21st 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Location: The Met

Description: Come learn music and choreography from the hit musical Frozen! With songs like “Let it Go,” “In Summer,” and more, this is one camp you don’t want to miss! Join us for singing, dancing, games, and friends to kick off the summer at Spark! This camp will end with a short student showcase.

Finding Nemo Mini Camp

Ages: 5-6

Dates: July 8th-12th 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

One Week Musical Review Camps

Our musical review camps are the ideal way to experience a musical in a jam packet, one week camp!  We will put on a showcase with music, choreography, and highlights from the following musicals.  Students will be given a camp shirt for the showcase and will be selected to perform featured parts and in groups.  Join us to take your skills to a new level and have FUN!  *The goal of these camps are to build skills.  This is not a full production.

Shrek Musical Review

Ages: 10+

Dates: June 17th-21st 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Location: The Met

Description: Embark on a magical journey to the whimsical world of Shrek with our one-week Shrek, The Musical Cabaret Camp! Join us for an enchanting experience as we bring to life the beloved characters and toe-tapping tunes from this beloved musical. From the swampy home of Shrek to the towering castle of Lord Farquaad, campers will immerse themselves in the fantastical realm of fairy tales, meeting iconic characters such as Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Gingy, and more. Students will hone their performance skills and create fun characters and perform a cabaret-style showcase at the end of the week, that will leave audiences cheering for more. Description: Little Camp of Horrors beckons all brave souls ages 12 and up to embark on a spine-chilling journey into the world of horror musicals! This Cabaret-style tribute promises thrills, chills, and electrifying performances inspired by Broadway's most haunting hits, including The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, Little Shop of Horrors, Jekyll and Hyde, and Sweeney Todd. Aspiring performers will explore the spookier realms of musical theater, honing their skills in singing, dancing, and acting to bring these iconic tales of terror to life. Join us for an unforgettable theatrical adventure where the macabre meets the magical!
